Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 2.34%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.34%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 7.23% or 6.58 points to trade at 97.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 6.56% or 70.5 points to end at 1145.5 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 5.24% or 123.0 points to 2470.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 0.69% or 1.5 points to trade at 214.9 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 0.24% or 1.2 points to end at 500.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 0.28% or 0.5 points to 180.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 46 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; rising 5.24% or 123.0 to 2470.0.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.10% or 0.04 to $39.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.12% or 0.05 to hit $41.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.63% or 49.95 to trade at $1946.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.67% to 6.3065, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4486.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.68% at 92.778.
