Boeing posts second straight quarterly profit on 737 MAX boost

(Reuters) – Boeing (NYSE:BA) Co eked out a small adjusted profit for the third quarter, helped by a ramp-up in deliveries of its once best-selling 737 MAX jets amid a rebound in global air travel.

The company’s core operating profit stood at $59 million in the third quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with a loss of $754 million, a year earlier. []
