Investing.com – Costco (NASDAQ:) fell 1% in postmarket trade after the company posted mixed fiscal fourth-quarter , missing analysts’ estimates on the bottom line.
- Costco (NASDAQ:) reported earnings of $2.25, below the estimate consensus from Investing.com of $2.54 a share, on revenue of about $47.5 billion, slightly above estimates of $47.48 billion.
- Comparable sales for the fourth quarter were 5.1%., led by strong growth in the U.S. of 6.2%
- This year’s fourth quarter was negatively impacted by a $123 million pre-tax reserve to selling, general and administrative expenses, Costco (NASDAQ:) said.
