Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the were ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:), which rose 6.34% or 1.18 points to trade at 19.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Savola Group (SE:) added 5.52% or 1.65 points to end at 31.55 and Alujain Corporation (SE:) was up 4.30% or 0.80 points to 19.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Hokair Group (SE:), which fell 4.81% or 0.74 points to trade at 14.66 at the close. National Gypsum Company (SE:) declined 1.31% or 0.16 points to end at 12.08 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:) was down 1.29% or 0.90 points to 68.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 155 to 29 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.61% or 0.34 to $55.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.97% or 0.60 to hit $60.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 4.10 to trade at $1494.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.1677, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 97.498.
