Evraz PLC on Friday said that total steel product sales remained flat in the third-quarter compared with the prior three-month period, with sales of semi-finished products partially offset by a fall in finished products.
The London-based steel-making and mining company EVR, -3.06% , which mainly operates in Russia, said that third-quarter crude steel production slipped to 3.4 million metric tons, from 3.5 million tons in the second quarter.
For the first nine months of the year, crude steel output rose to 10.4 million tons from 9.9 million tons in the first nine months of 2018.
The FTSE 100 metals producer said production of raw coking coal fell 9.7% to 6.3 million tons.
