Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the declined 0.23%, while the index lost 0.04%, and the index climbed 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the were Wirecard AG (DE:), which rose 3.27% or 3.800 points to trade at 119.850 at the close. Meanwhile, Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:) added 2.15% or 0.375 points to end at 17.800 and Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (DE:) was up 0.58% or 0.380 points to 65.480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:), which fell 1.72% or 0.324 points to trade at 18.512 at the close. Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST (DE:) declined 1.38% or 0.940 points to end at 67.160 and Covestro AG (DE:) was down 1.18% or 0.550 points to 46.140.
The top performers on the MDAX were Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (DE:) which rose 2.28% to 13.7100, Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was up 2.20% to settle at 40.370 and Qiagen NV (DE:) which gained 1.82% to close at 29.1200.
The worst performers were Siltronic AG (DE:) which was down 3.07% to 82.200 in late trade, Delivery Hero AG (DE:) which lost 2.56% to settle at 43.00 and K+S AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was down 2.01% to 12.940 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SMA Solar Technology AG (DE:) which rose 8.20% to 31.420, S&T AG (DE:) which was up 4.54% to settle at 20.74 and Nordex SE O.N. (DE:) which gained 4.04% to close at 12.350.
The worst performers were SLM Solutions Group AG (DE:) which was down 5.36% to 14.82 in late trade, Siltronic AG (DE:) which lost 3.07% to settle at 82.200 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was down 1.72% to 18.512 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 342 to 337 and 81 ended unchanged.
Shares in SMA Solar Technology AG (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 8.20% or 2.380 to 31.420.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 2.51% to 14.30.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.41% or 5.95 to $1456.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.38% or 0.22 to hit $57.02 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.24% or 0.15 to trade at $62.36 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.20% to 1.1038, while EUR/GBP fell 0.39% to 0.8586.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 98.020.
