Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:), which rose 9.87% or 1.08 points to trade at 12.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:) added 4.80% or 1.10 points to end at 24.00 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:) was up 4.56% or 2.70 points to 61.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:), which fell 2.19% or 0.32 points to trade at 14.32 at the close. Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:) declined 2.17% or 0.40 points to end at 18.00 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:) was down 1.86% or 0.36 points to 19.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 4.80% or 1.10 to 24.00. Shares in Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.56% or 2.70 to 61.90.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.51% or 0.30 to $58.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.83% or 0.52 to hit $63.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.05 to trade at $1479.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.15% to 4.1595, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 97.465.
