Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.48%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.48%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 0.07% or 0.3 points to trade at 410.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell 0.16% or 1.4 points to end at 874.4 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 0.26% or 2.0 points to 763.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 7.52% or 33.0 points to trade at 406.1 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 5.53% or 11.2 points to end at 190.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 4.97% or 11.4 points to 218.1.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 41 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) rose to all time highs; up 0.07% or 0.3 to 410.1.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.44% or 0.19 to $42.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $45.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.01% or 20.20 to trade at $2018.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 6.2386, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4458.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 92.310.
