Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.41%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.41%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 1.47% or 34.0 points to trade at 2347.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 1.06% or 8.0 points to end at 763.5 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.04% or 10.5 points to 1020.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 4.06% or 4.2 points to trade at 98.1 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.58% or 10.3 points to end at 389.0 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.98% or 3.8 points to 186.1.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 41 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.95% or 0.41 to $42.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.32% or 0.60 to hit $44.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 17.65 to trade at $1952.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.2808, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4459.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 92.797.
