The worst performers of the session were E.ON SE NA (DE:EONGn), which fell 0.94% or 0.095 points to trade at 10.060 at the close. Bayer AG NA (DE:BAYGN) declined 0.40% or 0.23 points to end at 57.59 and Deutsche Telekom AG Na (DE:DTEGn) was down 0.39% or 0.060 points to 15.150.
The top performers on the MDAX were CTS Eventim AG (DE:EVDG) which rose 5.02% to 40.180, Alstria Office Reit-Ag (DE:AOXG) which was up 4.02% to settle at 12.950 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:NEKG) which gained 2.80% to close at 67.850.
The worst performers were Airbus Group SE (DE:AIRG) which was down 1.95% to 70.22 in late trade, RTL Group SA (DE:RRTL) which lost 1.72% to settle at 28.580 and Grenke N AG (DE:GLJn) which was down 1.39% to 60.50 at the close.

The worst performers were New Work SE (DE:NWOn) which was down 2.08% to 259.00 in late trade, Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. (DE:PV) which lost 0.42% to settle at 164.10 and Deutsche Telekom AG Na (DE:DTEGn) which was down 0.39% to 15.150 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 428 to 236 and 87 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.77% or 34.05 to $1957.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.12% or 0.05 to hit $43.40 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.19% or 0.09 to trade at $46.20 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.03% to 1.1837, while EUR/GBP fell 0.45% to 0.8955.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 92.852.
